Biography - Joseph Falconberry
Hi, I'm Joseph Falconberry. I attend La Vergne High School where I am a Senior this year (2004-2005).
I was born on March 3, 1987 in Nashville, Tennessee, but moved with my parents, Ron and Cathy Falconberry, to Louisville, Kentucky, in 1990 when I was just three years old. We moved back to Tennessee the week of Christmas, 1995, into a house that we bought in La Vergne, which is just outside of Nashville. I attended Roy Waldron Middle School from the fourth grade through the eighth grade and moved on to La Vergne High School.
For several years I was in the Cub Scouts and I also played Little League baseball. From the sixth through the tenth grade, I belonged to a model airplane club known as the Smyrna Flying Aces. It was a lot of fun to build airplanes out of wood and paper and to fly them in competitions. I was fortunate enough to win a few trophies and plaques at the national competitions.
I have always loved music. I played the trumpet in the Roy Waldron band, took piano lessons and also took guitar lessons. Currently, I am one of the original members of the band Eleven58 in which I play the keyboard and guitar and sing the lead vocals. I also maintain the band's web site. Please give it a visit and look around.
At La Vergne High School, I am a member of the Cross Country team during the Fall and the Track team during the Spring. Our track team has been the District 9-AAA Champions for three consecutive years. These photos are from our trip in October, 2003, when the Cross Country team competed in the 8th Annual Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. These two pictures were taken during my run (Pic 1 Pic 2) with one of my teammates Ryan Drumright (to my right) and here I am crossing the finish line. As we were leaving the complex, we all posed for a team photo (I'm at the far right in the white T-shirt and sandals).
My family and I attend church services at the Smyrna church of Christ where I am active in the youth group, work on service projects other activities.
